Job Description

This is a critical and high profile role for this Blue Chip multinational, both regionally in Nigeria, and as a key member of the Global Finance team.  The role will require an experienced Finance Professional who has a strong track record of running a large consumer focused business, with experience of reporting to external shareholders.
The role will lead the business through a period of expansion   and transformation .  while ensuring operational excellence. The role also includes building a highly capable and motivated team to deliver strong business partnering across all business units within the Nigerian operations.  Bringing energy and drive to the role, the CFO should be prepared to challenge senior management peers,  and,   by  initiating and driving through the change required ,   create a robust financial environment which supports and serves the commercial needs of the business.
 
The organisation is looking to hire the highest calibre individual and can offer long term opportunities internationally at the highest levels within the group. The role will have full responsibility for the Finance and IT functions of the Nigerian Group, and  will  lead  through the development of  Commercial Finance Teams the optimal investments to drive returns ,  with a focus on tight working capital and cash management. The role will ensure the timely reporting of the key financial performance indicators to the management team, highlighting issues, suggesting solutions and driving progress with Commercial and Supply Chain partners.

Desired Skills & Experience

We require a degree educated, qualified accountant at CFO level with 15 - 20 years experience. You will have worked in margin sensitive sectors, businesses with turnovers >$400m, emerging markets and ideally as an ex-pat.
