This position will appeal to proven operation professional that is up to date in management thinking and capable of further developing a Continuous Improvement Program in Oil and gas onshore and offshore drilling businesses.

Reporting directly to the President of this successfully established oil and gas drilling company, this board position carries responsibility for the leadership, strategic development and efficient management of all drilling operations within the company.
 A candidate of substance and gravitas with experience in world-class drilling operations is required. You will be a proven operation leader with experience and ability to interface effectively across all drilling professional disciplines.
Responsibilities cover both internal operational matters and external relationships such as supply chain, customer liaison and participation in major bid activity. Candidates will be educated to degree or equivalent level in Petroleum engineering discipline will have had a progressive and successful career and leadership roles in the international Onshore and Offshore drilling projects.
 Leadership presence and commercial awareness are also essential for this board position where the role holder is expected to be an active participant in the development of this nationally owned business.

Desired Skills & Experience

Education:    Master degree in Petroleum Engineering, with major in oil and gas drilling.
