Job Title: Commercial Legal Manager
Department:: Corporate Services
Location:: Lagos
Job Description:
•Conduct due diligence in structuring of deals relating to commercial transactions
•Direct, advise and monitor interconnection agreements.
•Proactive prevention of litigation and direct litigation when required
•Draft and advise on company contracts relating to supplier agreements
•Assist in Managing litigations and disputes
•Develop and structure contractual framework
•Settle legal relationship between MTN and 3rd parties
Job Conditions: MTNN Standard working conditions May require local and international travel
Reporting To: SM, Commercial Legal
Required Skills:
•Barrister at Law (LLB) and Bachelor of Laws (BL)
•Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, including at least 2 years experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
•Minimum of 5 years litigation experience and 3 years in-house Corporate Law experience
•Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role
•Experience in handling and negotiating diverse legal transactions
•In depth experience and understanding of the Nigerian legal and telecommunications regulatory framework
