PROJECT/ENGINEERING MANAGER (Ref: KRPEM)
Roles and responsibilities
Manage
all civil and project works in engineering project to meet agreed
timelines, in line with set specifications and within approved budget
Lead and manage the civil works engineering team
Develop and institute civil works engineering standards and protocols
Skill set
A
degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 12- 15 years hands on
construction experience (road construction, drainage, bridges, office
and building)
Experience with CAT, MACK and other OEM construction equipment
Creative thinker, problem solving and result oriented
Community engagement, negotiation skills, project management
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (Ref: KRFAM)
Roles and responsibilities
Responsible for computation and remittance of statutory tax requirements
Structure and execution of compensation & benefits as well as payroll administration
Advise organization in areas such as compensation, health care benefits
Design of accounting and data processing systems as well as forecasting
Skill set
A university degree with a minimum of 10-15 years financial experience
Member of ICAN or ACCA
Knowledge of the construction business
Attention to detail, business savvy, analytical and solution minded
Knowledge of economic/accounting principles and practices, the financial markets and business management
QUANTITY SURVEYOR (Ref KRQS)
Roles and responsibilities
Prepares pre-qualification and tender submissions
Prepares valuation and claim submissions
Monitors and assist with project cost control
Reviews contract obligations and requirements
Assists the project managers/engineers in the day to day commercial and contractual aspects of projects
Reviews and recommends subcontractor and supplier payments
Requirements
A
university degree in Quantity Survey, Regional planning or a related
field, 8- 10 years hands on experience in construction business
Member of the institute of quantity surveyors
Excellent computer skills
Be familiar with all pre and post contract techniques and processes
Relationship management skills
Ability to interpret architectural drawings
