Job Purpose: To assist with clerical duties involved in managing the clinic’s pharmacy. Key Result Areas Main Activities and Responsibilities Management of drugs and record documentation •Management of drugs distribution to various company sites •Drugs monitoring, arrangement and recording •Issuance of prescribed drugs to patient. •Compute charges for medication issued to patients with determination of knowing when the personnel has exceeded 10% medicals allowance. •General /specific drugs stocking /packing with bill cards •Proper Storage and retrieval of drugs from the store •Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. •Take stock of medications, and supplies, and enter inventory data on the computer. •Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages •Preparing and labeling drugs •Innovate filling systems for ease of retrieval •Issuance and retrieval of patients cards/folders •Keeps proper record of drugs issued out to patients/ other site locations |

Requirement : | |
Paper Qualification: Minimum of BSC in any Science discipline. |
|
Experience: Minimun of 3-4 years exeperience in a similar role |
|
Must Have (apart from the above): •Knowledge of computer applications •knowledge of: medical terminology and abbreviations; pharmaceutical terms and drug names Knowledge of drugs interactions •Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. •Must be proactive. •Knowledge of mathematics to compute dosages and rate of drug use •Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services •Knowledge of drug storage •knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures |
