(Faculty of Science)

• Microbiology.

Position: Professor


Salary Scale: (CONUASS 7)

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess a PhD degree from a recognized University with at least ten (10) years teaching) research and administrative experience in a University. Candidates must demonstrate competence to provide academic leadership.
• Candidates must also be specialist in core areas of departmental fields of study with evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international bodies where required.

Position: Reader

Salary Scale: (CONUASS6)

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a PhD degree from a recognized University with at least Eight (8) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a University.
• Candidates must have evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.

Position: Senior Lecturer

Salary Scale: (CONUASS 5)

Qualification

• Candidates should possess a PhD degree from a recognized University with at least six (6) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a University.
• They must also have  evidence of eight (8) scholarly publications in both local and international  reputable learned journals, plus members of relevant professional bodies where required.

Position: Lecturer I

Salary Scale: (CONUASS 4)

Qualification

• Candidates should possess a PhD from a recognized University with at least three (3) years post-Doctoral teaching, research and administrative experience in a University.
• They must also have evidence of six (6) journals articles in both local and international learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.

Position: Lecturer II

Salary Scale: (CONUASS 3)

Qualification

• Candidates should possess a PhD from a recognized University with at least three (3) years post-Doctoral teaching, research and administrative experience in a University.
• They must also have evidence of three (3) publications in local and international reputable learned journals, plus membership of relevant professional bodies where required.

Position: Assistant Lecturer

Salary Scale: (CONUASS 2)

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a first degree, with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division and a Masters degree in relevant field from a recognized University.

Position: Graduate Assistant

Qualification

• Candidates must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in  a relevant  field from a recognized University.

Note:
I.          All candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;
II.         Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria.
III.        A Candidate who is awaiting result may not be considered and need not apply;
IV.       Computer literacy is required for all the positions.
