Job Description :
	Job Purpose: To provide geophysical support for Neconde OML-42 assets (fields and reservoirs) by providing up-to date reservoir description (including imaging) of the reservoirs, to support quality estimates of hydrocarbon volumes and reserves, provide support for field development activities, exploration and production optimization activities. Apply knowledge, technology and best practices to ensure a solid geologic and geophysical understanding of OML-42 reservoirs and leverage the understanding for value creation – maximization of production and reserves. Key Result Areas Main Activities and Responsibilities: Reservoir Description, Mapping and Production Support 1.Maintain up-to-date seismic interpretation of key horizons to support structural and stratigraphic description and understanding of reservoirs including regional description of reservoir systems 2.Develop a solid understanding of depositional setting of fields and reservoirs 3.Support building geologic models using latest technology and best practices for the characterization of reservoirs for reservoir simulation 4.Provide geophysical input into generating up-to-date structural maps and reservoir properties map of assigned fields and reservoirs, ensuring that maps have sufficient accuracy to provide estimates of original and remaining in-place volumes. 5.Provide geophysical support for drilling and workover activities. 6.Routinely provide geophysical into reservoir performance and challenges 7.Liase with Geologists to ensure new technologies are adopted to improve geophysical and geological description of reservoirs. 8.Work seamlessly with geologists and petroleum engineers to optimize hydrocarbon resources and production in OML 42.

Requirement :
	Paper Qualification: Minimum B.Sc (Minimum second Class lower) in Geophysics or related Geosciences from a reputable university. A relevant Masters degree in Geosciences is preferred.
	Experience: Minimum 5+ years work experience in similar role.
	Must Have (apart from the above): Key Competencies: 1.Ability to interpret geologic features from seismic data 2.Good understanding of Niger delta geology and depositional settings 3.Competency in the wide use of suites of geological and geophysical software for interpretation, imaging, mapping and reservoir modeling. 4.Competency in the basic interpretation of well logs 5.Some experience in reservoir properties from seismic 6.Ability to QC seismic data set, provide quality control of processing and improvement of seismic data sets. 7.Effective oral and written communication skills, particularly for technical presentations. 8.Self-motivated to learn and adopt new technologies and impart knowledge to others. 9.Proactive analytical skills with attention to details and process improvements 10.Ability to maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work 11.Excellent team player and ability to perform very well in a cross-functional work environment
