at Etisalat Nigeria in Lagos
Division: Marketing Segments & Strategy
Reports To: Manager-SME Segment
Job Summary:
Assist the Manager-SME in cross-functional collaborations aimed at developing SME value propositions and bringing them to market
Principal Functions:
Assist the Manager-SME in the development of marketing plans and management of the marketing elements of the offers including naming, positioning, marketing brief development, execution, and socialization
Collaborate with sales, training, communication, finance, and operations to ensure flawless execution
Assist the Manager-SME to ensure maximum market penetration, growth and profitability through effective implementation of SME segment strategies
Liaise with the Brands and Communications function to define effective channels for communicating defined/approved initiatives aimed at creating awareness in the SME market
Assist the Manager-SME in ensuring periodic review and update of Etisalat Nigeria’s SME segment demographic profiles
Propose market research areas aimed at acquiring intelligence on the preferences and behavioural patterns of the country’s SME market
Propose new product initiatives as well as options for convergence aimed at penetrating the SME segment
Provide recommendations on the design of a customer lifecycle extension plan for Etisalat Nigeria’s SME segment
Provide inputs and make recommendations on the development of viable market penetration and market share acquisition frameworks for Etisalat Nigeria’s SME segment
Ensure synergy across functional areas through effective management of inter-functional relations and activities
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager-SME
Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager-SME
Educational Requirements: First degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience & Skills: Good knowledge of competitive environment, consumer trends and trade practices in the industry. Between one (1) and two (2) years relevant work experience, within the telecommunications industry. Interested candidates must be highly focussed and success-driven, strategic and analytical in thinking, possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), and possess high levels of integrity and self regulation
