POSITION TITLE Regional Transmission Manager
REPORTING TO : Chief Technical Officer
LOCATION: Lagos, Nigeria

JOB PURPOSE:
This function co-ordinates all Transmission operations and projects in the regions in conjunction with the RTO organization and aligned to agreed deliverables.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Regional Transmission Operations Ensure the delivery of the highest quality of Transmission experience in regions at all times. Enforce operational standards for Transmission with Managed Services Partners Provide periodic region-wise operational reports
Regional Transmission Projects Facilitate the seam-less implementation of Transmission projects in the regions. Provide periodic region-wise project reports.
Transmission Database and Analysis Maintain up to date Transmission database, region-wise. Provide analysis to guide Capex and Opex investment in Regional Transmission environment. Maintain accurate records of Managed Capacity commitments.
Employee Engagement Maintain high Team Harmony and Engagement at all times.
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
 Any of the following:
 Bachelor of Engineering degree or related fields
 Project Management Certification
 Excellent knowledge of ITU-R and ITU-T recommendation on Transmission
 Analytical and Presentation skills
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
 Minimum of 7 years’ working Experience
 Minimum of 1 years managerial experience
 Past Experience in a Telecommunication Environment is Mandatory
