Reports To: Head-Data, Portals & VAS
Job Summary:
Develop and drive business opportunities and strategic partnerships for growing Etisalat Nigeria’s fixed and mobile broadband business and market share
Principal Functions:
Work with both internal and external teams/ partners (OEMs, Technology Partners) to identify new consumer and B2B commercial opportunities
Lead the development and execution of market entry strategies for new launch products as well as new industry sectors
Work with the Business Intelligence, Pricing and Strategy teams to develop and continuously refine the 3-5 year Broadband Business Plan
Develop strategies to ensure market leadership for Etisalat Nigeria data services focused on delivering margin, usage and customer advocacy
Develop levering plans utilizing customer knowledge and insights aimed at achieving performance KPIs
Work closely with other Segment Marketing managers to drive cross-functional initiatives and product bundling, ensuring deeper data product penetration across all Etisalat Nigeria customer segments
Drive integrated product planning for the post-paid Consumer & SOHO product portfolio, engaging with billing, acquisition & customer marketing planning teams & processes
Lead efforts with the Brands and Communication team to develop overall communication strategies for Etisalat Nigeria data strategies as well as support any product related marketing campaigns
Assist in implementing the unit’s work programmes and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines
Assist in planning and managing the human and material resources of the unit to optimise performance, morale and enhance productivity
Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions
Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head-Data, Portals & VAS
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head-Data, Portals & VAS
Educational Requirements: First degree in relevant discipline, e.g Engineering and IT. Postgraduate/ professional qualifications in relevant fields will be an advantage
Experience & Skills: Between five (5) and eight (8) years relevant work experience, at least most recent three (3) in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking capabilities, keen practical business acumen and a deep understanding of marketing. Must also possess highly developed written and oral communication, Powerpoint presentation skills and analytical skills, as well as expert proficiency in use of Excel
