Etisalat Nigeria in Lagos - Manager, Channel Promotions & Incentives

Division: Indirect Channels & Corporate Sales

Reports To: Head-Sales Distribution

Job Summary:

Design, operationalize and continuously improve strategic initiatives and incentive structures aimed at driving Distribution Partner (DP) profitability and increasing Etisalat Nigeria’s share of DP wallet


Principal Functions:

Focus on the development and execution of DP promotions in line with the organization’s objectives

Ensure that DP-targeted promos and incentives enhance DP profitability while driving Etisalat Nigeria’s revenue base; identify performance gaps and recommend/ develop initiatives to address such gaps for the attention of the Head-Sales Distribution

Oversee analyses of DP-focussed strategic initiatives and incentives across the competitive landscape

Oversee analyses of trade promos across the competitive landscape

Ensure prompt payment of incentive payouts due to DPs

Conduct quarterly field visits to regions in order to monitor implementation and impact of DP promos and incentives

Prepare/ compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head-Sales Distribution

Perform any other duties assigned by the Head-Sales Distribution

Educational Requirements:

First degree or equivalent

Postgraduate qualifications/ certifications will provide an advantage

Experience & Skills:

Between five (5) and eight (8) years’ directly relevant post-NYSC work experience, preferably currently in a supervisory role within a telecoms sales environment
