Specialist, Mass Market Segment at Etisalat Nigeria in Lagos

Division: Mass Market Segment

Reports To: Manager-Mass Market Segment

Job Summary:

Support achievement of overall business objectives for the mass market segment through active contribution and participation in key activities such as core proposition development (product and pricing), route to market planning, and implementation of advertising and promotion strategies


Principal Functions:

Support the execution of strategic activities aimed at achieving overall mass market segment objectives and KPIs

Develop proposals for projects and activities that will grow mass market segment profitability

Work with relevant support groups to ensure availability of mass market segment products across all required channels; provide regular feedback for the attention of the Manager-Mass Market Segment

Conduct regular environmental scanning of the competitive landscape to collate relevant information as may impact on the business’s mass market strategy; make recommendations for the attention of the Manager-Mass Market Segment

Monitor approved/ existing mass market segment projects and initiatives to ensure end-to-end process compliance and enable seamless execution

Support the Manager-Mass Market Segment in effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion and delivery of projects and initiatives

Assist in generating and analyzing reports to aid clear decision making; co-ordinate approvals and sign-offs for documents originating from the Mass Market Segment team and ensure safekeeping of such documents

Educational Requirements:

First degree or equivalent in the social sciences and/ or numerate disciplines

Postgraduate qualifications/ certifications will provide an advantage

Experience & Skills:

Between two (2) and five (5) years’ directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in core Sales and/ or Marketing functions

Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent understanding of mobile telecommunications business environment
• Good analytical skills
