Lubes Manager Ref: Esty 001
Category: Oil and Gas Downstream


Job Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Lubes Manager has responsibility to manage all activities relating to the safe, cost effective, efficient operation and maintenance of the Lubricants blending plant

Key Responsibilities:
-  Develop and review a viable strategic plan/budget for achieving the division's short and long term goals
-  Develop strategies to achieve planned lubes blending volume at the right cost and quality
-  Ensure proper coordination and supervision of all functional sections in the lube plant for achievement of overall corporate objectives
-  Ensure strict application of quality assurance principles in certifying that all in- coming raw materials and the final blended products conform to prescribed quality standards
-  Develop effective production management policies and procedures to ensure smooth blending activities
-  Ensure high level of machine utilisation to improve productivity and reduce cost
-  Ensure compliance with HSSE standards in the blending plant

Requirement:
Qualifications & Experience

- A good university degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemical or Chemistry
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in Quality Assurance, blending or production environment, three of which must have been at Senior Supervisory level

HEAD PROCUREMENT Ref: Esty 002

Job Summary

The Head Procurement is responsible for managing and coordinating functions within the company pertaining to materials management. He is also responsible for the coordination of all activities relating to Facilities and Services provision and management.

Key Responsibilities:

    Develops an effective Supply Chain Management process (from procurement to delivery/ customer); identifies, develops and implements various improvement opportunities to ensure the company’s procurement activities provides a competitive advantage for the business.
    Develops and reviews policies and standards on asset acquisition (including buy / lease facility types)
    Develops contract and minimum service level agreements with service vendors
    Handles vendor selection processes and selects top quality 3rd parties and partners based on predetermined criteria and set company standards.
    Negotiates favourable vendor agreements and contracts for the company.

Qualifications & Experience

    Good 1st degree from a reputable tertiary institution
    8 - 10 years work experience, at least 4 years as a Procurement Manager within a reputable and structured organisation
    Professional accreditation in the purchasing field is an advantage

Reporting to the managing Director, the Head IT has responsibility to develop IT strategies for the organization to support corporate strategies and enable competitive advantage

Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the development of operational strategies and IT policies for the department

Develop and maintain an information system that enables controlled, secure and accurate transaction processing.

Job Summary

The Depot Manager has responsibility to ensure proper coordination and supervision of all Units/Sections in the depot for the achievement of overall corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the implementation of the strategic plan and prepare periodic situation reports on   weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Develop operational processes and procedures of the depot and its implementation.
Determine relevant needs of the depot and put structures in place that will ensure high performance and steady output and growth.
Ensure the safe and efficient product receipt and truck loading.
Optimization of storage capacity and utilization of assets
Develop relationships with other depots and stakeholders

The Construction Manager is responsible for planning and executing architectural and structural design of all buildings, installations, houses and retail outlets to the company's standards and specifications in regulated timeframe

Carry out work plan, architectural and structural design of all buildings, installations, warehouses and retail outlet projects
Preparation of Bills of quantity, carry out market surveys, Project estimates and tender documents of all civil Engineering projects of the company

Job Summary
The primary function and responsibility of the Oil Trader is to act on behalf of clients to buy and sell physical commodities (including Crude Oil, PMS, AGO, DPK and Jet A1, Bitumen, LPFO, Base Oils, Chemicals and other specialty products).

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures the Company develops deep understanding of the markets in which they operate
Provides input to the identification of business, regulatory, operational and performance risks, and the resolution of attendant issues.
Supports transaction risk management efforts through the conceptualisation and execution of paper trades and other hedging strategies.
Performs various forms of business, financial and technical analysis; compiles reports providing critical information for the trading department for decision making.
Prepares bid/tender documents
Prepares registration packages to global counterparts, ensuring the company is registered and able to trade with these counterparts and also participate in global purchase and supply tenders
Provides effective relationship management with both local and global counterparties by ensuring that the company gets the most competitive purchase and sales deals
