Resources expert who is truly a change agent, to lead and successfully
implement its change initiatives.
POSITION: HEAD, HUMAN RESOURCES
This
position reports directly to the Managing Director Chief Executive. The
successful candidate will be a member of the Executive Management and
will be expected to have an excellent understanding of the corporate
strategy, fashion out an apt HR Strategy from it, articulate the HR
policies and processes and effectively see to their smooth
implementation.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in the
Social Sciences ( such as Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources
Management, etc ) Humanities and allied areas plus Masters degree in
these allied disciplines or in Business Administration.
Minimum of 12
years post-graduation cognate experience in most areas of human
resources garnered from well established organisations. Practical and
demonstrable experience in change management is paramount. Experience in
HR Consulting
is an added advantage.
The right candidate must
not only be articulate but must also be a problem- solver. He/She must
be a thorough-bred professional, fair and firm, whose ethical standing,
is not in doubt. The candidate must also be commercial and
results-oriented in seeing
the meeting point between the HR practices, the bottom line and sustainability issues.
