Division: Commercial Planning
Reports To: Director-Commercial Planning
Job Summary:
Deliver insights on all high-level and detailed commercial key performance drivers as and when required at Etisalat Nigeria
Principal Functions:
Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery of the daily, weekly, ad hoc and monthly market update reports on key drivers and variance analyses on Etisalat Nigeria and the competition for growth strategies and planning
Deliver management dashboard report on current business drivers, monitor growth or otherwise, and track and forecast marketing and sales trends
Co-ordinate and review forecasts and projections for revenue, subscriber airtime usage, minutes of use analytics, activity growth, call distribution patterns, international call routes and roaming
Produce monthly Business Intelligence Commercial Report and Monthly Product & Service Uptake Report
Monitor and follow up with external market intelligence agencies to ensure delivery of management reports and informed business decision-making
Track implementation of identified business opportunities based on agreed parameters
Report trend impact of competition product launch and availability on Etisalat Nigeria network
Develop and document rules for Etisalat Nigeria business reporting requirements
Liaise with Technical, Marketing and Finance functions in order to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of business intelligence and predictive churn modelling projects
Track and identify performance of Etisalat Nigeria relative to the market potential by the adoption of geo-marketing and GIS tools in order to effectively provide valuable insights to management
Put together the yearly commercial plan based on inputs for all business segment drivers
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics and/ or Business Management
Experience & Skills: Between five (5) and eight (8) directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in business analytics-related function. Strong knowledge of SQL. Very strong knowledge of telecoms key performance indicators. Extremely strong working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Burst-based presentations
